At Llaeth y Llan, the quality and integrity of our products are our top priorities. We want to reassure our customers that our products are not affected by concerns surrounding the use of Bovaer in dairy farming.

We can confirm that Llaeth y Llan does not source any milk from Arla farms involved in the Bovaer trial. Furthermore, thorough investigations have verified that no milk from these trials has been supplied to our production processes through milk swaps or any other means.

Festive Fruits Christmas Pavlova

The perfect way to enjoy this festive season, with a sweet and easy pavlova recipe!

Ingredients

Pavlova

  • 10 x Medium Egg Whites
  • 500g Caster Sugar

Topping

  • 1 x 450g Llaeth Y Llan Natural Yogurt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 tbsp Icing Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Brandy (optional)
  • Festive Fruits (to decorate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150C/Gas Mark 2.
  2. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment.
  3. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks, add caster sugar gradually until smooth and glossy.
  4. Spoon 8 heaped dessertspoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. , spacing them evenly.
  5. Using the back of the spoon, hollow out the centres .
  6. Pop the tray into the centre shelf of the oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 140C/ Gas Mark 1.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes, then switch off the oven and allow the meringues to dry out in the warmth of the oven for 4 hours or overnight.
  8. When ready to serve, whisk together the LYL Natural Greek style yogurt, vanilla, icing sugar and brandy.
  9. Spoon over the pavlova bases and decorate with festive fruits.
