The perfect way to enjoy this festive season, with a sweet and easy pavlova recipe!
Ingredients
Pavlova
- 10 x Medium Egg Whites
- 500g Caster Sugar
Topping
- 1 x 450g Llaeth Y Llan Natural Yogurt
- 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 2 tbsp Icing Sugar
- 3 tbsp Brandy (optional)
- Festive Fruits (to decorate)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150C/Gas Mark 2.
- Line a baking sheet with baking parchment.
- Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks, add caster sugar gradually until smooth and glossy.
- Spoon 8 heaped dessertspoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. , spacing them evenly.
- Using the back of the spoon, hollow out the centres .
- Pop the tray into the centre shelf of the oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 140C/ Gas Mark 1.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then switch off the oven and allow the meringues to dry out in the warmth of the oven for 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, whisk together the LYL Natural Greek style yogurt, vanilla, icing sugar and brandy.
- Spoon over the pavlova bases and decorate with festive fruits.
