Join us in congratulating Summer Carter, our Technical Manager, for her fantastic achievement in finishing the London Marathon!
She ran it in just over 4 hours, and managed to raise £3136 for Cancer Research UK!
Here is a quote from Summer (AKA the Marathon Runner) about the day:
“Cancer impacted my family – like it has so many others, so running The London Marathon for Cancer Research UK was a dream come true. 26.2 miles, my first ever marathon and I ran it in 4hrs 5mins with the most amazing crowd support ever. Easily the toughest thing mentally and physically I’ve done. To say you have to dig deep is an understatement, but I did it and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I managed to raise >3K for Cancer Research UK which I’m so happy about and it makes me feeling like my ankle was going to explode pretty much from mile 21 onwards worth it. I know people say this and I honestly didn’t think I would, but it really was one of the best days ever!!”
